Tour to Guanghai Town and St. John's Island, Taishan County, Guangdong

The first day: 20 Nov (Saturday)
1. Visit to the Cemetery of St. Francis of Assisi Xavier and the Holy Well on St. John's Island, to understand the strategy to spread Christianity by St. Francis.
2. Visits to Fawanpin site on St. John's Island, to understand the between Zhengde and Jiajing period of the Ming dynasty, as well as the early Sino-Portugal Trade remnants.
The second day: 21 Nov (Sunday)
1. Visits to the Cliff Inscriptions at Jihuajiang and the beacon tower of Ming dynasty at Guanghai Town, to understand the coastal conflict between pirates and the civilians/army. Then visits Mui Mansion at Dingjiangyu, for understanding the venecular Chinese structures with Western influences for flood-control and bandit defenses.
2. Visits Taishan Museum for a better understanding of the Fawanpin site artefacts as well as special exhibits on"Artefacts of Taishan Chinese Display".
